It’s July again and Frank Ocean has yet to bless us with his new album, Boys Don’t Cry. But that may be all about to change.
The highly-anticipated album that was expected to drop a year ago may be debuting this month. A new post on Ocean’s website seems to tease a release date: July 2016. The post called “Late” is a photo of an old library card, with July 2016 as the most recent date stamp.
The photo was subsequently posted to his brother Ryan Breaux’s Instagram with the caption “BOYS DON’T CRY #JULY2016.
Fans are hyped with the news of Ocean’s potential drop, though some people are skeptical that this is just another teaser of an announcement destined to let us down come July 31.

Said it before, but Frank Ocean is the friend who says he gonna split the Uber w/you, then you get out the car & only you paid for the Uber.

The library card (which many Ocean fans probably don’t even recognize) isn’t a guaranteed promise that the album is coming. But it’s the most obvious hint he’s shared in a while that his long-awaited sophomore album is finally here.
