For those loath to invest in virtual reality due to its high price tag, Sony just may have the answer.

PlayStation announced during its E3 press conference Monday evening that PlayStation VR will launch with a total of 50 available games, and you can buy the system solo or in a bundle with PlayStation VR Worlds for $499. The solo price is $399, as previously announced.

The helmet boasts a 5.7-inch OLED 1080p display running at up to 120 frames per second (full specs available here). Perhaps best of all, it’s plug and play right into your PlayStation 4, which will surely be good news for those who are interested in VR but aren’t ready to invest in a full PC rig.

The release date is the same as we learned earlier this year: October 2016. If you’ve been considering the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR should provide a nice counterpoint.
