It’s been just over a week since 20-year-old R&B singer Kehlani shared an intimate post and photo on her Instagram account regarding her suicide attempt. “Today I wanted to leave this earth,” her now-deleted post read. The following Tuesday, the hashtag #StayStrongKehlani was trending in the United States, with friends and fans alike sharing their support for the young artist.
But not everyone felt so sympathetic to Kehlani’s story, which arose among rumors that she was cheating on Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving with ex-boyfriend and rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR.
There is no attempting suicide. Stop flexing for the gram. Doing shit for sympathy so them comments under your pics don’t look so bad

Yes, R&B artist and kind-of-a-woman-hater Chris Brown dusted off his keyboard and rose to the occasion. During his Twitter tirade, Brown appeared to come to Irving’s defense and accuse Kehlani of fabricating her suicide attempt and “flexing for the gram.”
Girls be mad at a nigga for fucking around wit bitches but her DMs got more names then the Declaration of Independence. #YEAHIMTHROWINGSHADE

Hours later, Brown continued to defend his stance and prove that he doesn’t give a fuck what anybody says about him—or maybe he gives a lot of fucks? His phrasing is unclear.
I’ll be the BIGGEST PIECE OF 💩. But ima ride for my Homies regardless. KYRIE is probably one of the only good guys left. IDGAF!!!

The amount of followers I got and the amount of comments are the amounts of fucks I give. 🌪

After being unfollowed on Twitter by artists Tinashe, Zendaya, and Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane Hansen and Normani Kordei, Brown replied on his Instagram in a manner that suggested, “Hey, I might give a few fucks.”

And then, Brown took up the Twitter reins again that night for some unfiltered fun, tweeting about his rejection for being politically correct (if not calling talented women hobbit-faced asses is politically correct, I guess?) and how his fans, Team Breezy, are an “international nation of inspired individuals.”
I have no filter nor will I care or tone it down when people drop my name in something. Don’t wanna see it, simply exit out of your device.

I won’t pull the cover over your eyes and be politically correct. That’s not me, HATE IT OR LOVE IT. When I turn my phone off NO ONE MATTERS
— Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) April 7, 2016
IM LIVING!!! AND TEAM BREEZY AINT A FAN CLUB OF OBSESSED INSANE PEOPLE. WE ARE AN INTERNATIONAL NATION OF INSPIRED INDIVIDUALS.

Between his clear appreciation for women, his rampant use of social media to promote this “I don’t care” facade, and his outright dismissal of anyone who disagrees with him, I might even suggest letting Brown take a swing at this whole “presidential candidate” thing once this whole debacle blows over.
