Some are still in theaters but film buffs can still get their hands on these movies.

The nominations for the 89th Academy Awards were announced this morning to much fanfare among viewers and critics alike as they analyzed the movies up for the biggest awards in film.

And there’s a lot to process. La La Land, fresh off a near-sweep at the Golden Globes, tied the record with 14 nominations. Lin-Manuel Miranda is nominated for best original song and with his win could achieve the coveted EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). The nominations are more inclusive in front of and behind the camera this year after two years of controversy with #OscarsSoWhite. Deadpool was shut out completely after a best picture push while Suicide Squad is an Oscar nominee. (For best makeup and hair, but still.)

As is usually the case for those looking to catch up on Oscar-nominated films, most of the movies nominated for Oscars are still in theaters—or have yet to be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, or digitally. But some of them are accessible from your couch through your streaming subscription services or available to rent for just a few dollars.
