Mark Twain is coming to your office every Wednesday

We were worried it was just going to be a one-off sketch, but ThisIsMarkTwain@aol.com isn’t going anywhere.

Looks like the people behind the webseries ThisIsMarkTwain@aol.com are going to put up new videos every Wednesday. We were worried it was just going to be a one-off sketch, but Twain isn’t going anywhere.

This is the fourth installment of the series. It features Mr. Twain trying to flirt with his coworker and failing.

L.A. comedy performer Bryce Wissel’s portrayal of the legendary author is so funny and spot-on, I have a hard time believing there isn’t a real office somewhere with an annoying Twain running around.

In the series, from Mandatory Productions, Twain works in a social media office in the modern day, but still maintains his outlook, personality and knowledge from 1800s. In fact, in the show’s third episode, he tries to apologize to a black coworker for using the N-word 219 times in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Hopefully, the Mark Twain videos keep coming every Wednesday. They keep getting better and better, like a bite of sweet molasses on a hot summer’s day, as Twain might say.
