If you’re a grown adult that loves both plushies and anime (it’s OK to admit it, there are a lot of us), you need at least one Studio Ghibli plush toy in your life. And by one, we mean three or four.
Unlike the dark days before Disney acted as Ghibli’s U.S. distributor, Ghibli toys are a lot easier to get outside of Japan now. Amazon’s selection of plushies alone is quite impressive, featuring well-known characters like Totoro as well as rarer ones like Yakul from Princess Mononoke.
On sale for $10 and up, a lot of these are Prime-eligible (read: can be delivered before Christmas). If you’re looking to add an extra bit of magic to someone’s stocking, there’s no better way than hiding a creature within from some of the most whimsical films out there.
