Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of the most famous NASCAR drivers around, but because of lingering concussion symptoms, he actually hasn’t raced since July.
Seems like he’s a bit rusty.
Rusty enough that Earnhardt was caught from behind by a Texas police officer Sunday and pulled over for speeding. And Earnhardt’s fiancée, Amy Reimann, was there to tweet the humiliation.

Solid burn, made worse by the fact that Earnhardt was caught speeding while en route to a NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway.
But it sounds like Earnhardt—who, in his spare time, makes disgusting banana-and-mayonnaise sandwiches—got off on a technicality. Apparently the cop literally couldn’t give him a ticket.

As for how fast Earnhardt was actually driving…
