OK so the guitar player kid with the backward hat kind of fucks up the guitar solo, but that’s really missing the point: Metallica, more than the Ramones or Nirvana, is the most enduring and important American rock band. Those candy-store licks are sure to endure forever, propped up by a pummeling 12-year-old on a starter Mapex kit.
