They say in comedy that you cannot teach timing. You know it if you’re born with it, and it’s your duty to use it wisely.
We’ve got a line out to the dad filming this clip, in which he prompts his son to list every curse word he can think of, to see if we can get any details about any offshoot blood relationships between his kid and George Carlin. He has some twisted understanding of the way to hold a punchline about vocabulary and standards. It’s fascinating.
You’ll find a few words that fall within that curse word gray area, but the last word… the last word is bad. This kid will be swearing at you in a bar some day. I promise.
