Asking questions “on behalf of a friend” is never possible.
That’s why parents who’ve fallen victim to comedian Nathan Fielder’s latest prank were left thinking their kids had sexually transmitted diseases and were potentially spreading them to unsuspecting victims.
Generally, not something that’s a laughing matter.
Fielder implored followers to carry out the following mission Thursday afternoon.
Experiment: text your parents “If you think u gave someone an STD is it illegal not to tell them? Asking for a friend.” Then tweet response.

As with previous pranks, in which he urged followers to suggest to their folks that they wanted to buy drugs and tell their significant others they hadn’t been completely honest, Fielder retweeted some of the best responses.
They are at turns funny and sad, revealing as much about the human psyche as they do the relationships between parents and children.
