Boyfriend proposes to ‘Halloween’-loving girlfriend in Mike Myers mask

When Katherine Canipe walked down the same street on which Michael Myers stalked Laurie Strode on in her favorite film, Halloween, she probably wasn’t expecting a marriage proposal. 

But someone dressed as Myers did indeed pop the question to her. At first, she was terrified, but her screams soon turned to tears when her boyfriend, Alec Wells, removed the Myers mask and took a knee. Luckily for the internet, it was all recorded (and from three angles!).

It may have been an unusual proposal, but Alec knew Katherine well enough to know that it would work—she said “yes.”
