Nothing is cuter than these dogs’ valiant efforts to grab things off a table

We humans may gripe about it being Monday, but at least we can reach whatever we want on our tables.

The same can’t be said for our dogs. Whether they’re too short, too unsteady on their feet, or sometimes just too dumb, dogs are constantly frustrated by table delicacies just out of reach. But they try their hardest anyway—and they’re guaranteed howl their displeasure when they fail.

But every once in a while, dogs are able to impress us. If they snatch their prey after all that jumping and pawing, they deserve a nod of approval at the very least. And if they don’t? Well, they still look cute trying.
