Crocodile leaps out of the water and into your nightmares

Are crocodiles terrifying? Sure. Could they be even scarier? Uh—we’re not sure we want to know.

But it’s too late. National Geographic photographer Trevor Frost shared an Instagram video of a saltwater crocodile going more or less airborne on the strength of its tail and its craving for meat. Having seen this, we doubt we’ll set foot in a natural body of water as long as we live.

A gritty bayou-centric Air Bud reboot can’t be far off.
