The story of Benjamin—an adorable pygmy goat—could have been a sad one. Born a twin to a mother who rejected him, it seemed he would have to find his own way in the world. But the plucky kid has taken quite a shine to his adoptive human parent, Tom Horsfield of Yorkshire, England.

Even in a big year for goats, Benjamin stands out as an all-time great. Who else would have the audacity to piss and shit all over a BBC interview couch? Nobody, that’s who.

Really, the only thing we dislike about Benjamin is that we can’t cuddle him right this instant.

And how does Benjamin feel about being an overnight viral sensation? Pretty darn great, truth be told.
