You can pay this Australian service to break up with someone on your behalf

It’s a simple service that we’ve all wanted at one point or another.

Of all the things to say to another person, one of the most difficult and stress-inducing is “I don’t want to be with you anymore.”

Thankfully for people who have trouble breaking things off, a new Australian service called Sorry It’s Over is ready to step in and break up with your partner on your behalf.

Founder Kristy Mazins’ time as a nurse gave her the ability to always find the best words in tough situations. She’s now monetizing that skill set by interceding in awkward relationship conversations. For the Australian equivalent of $5 USD, Mazins will do your interpersonal housekeeping for you by sending a breakup text or email to whomever you choose.

If you’re willing to spend more than $5, your breakup message can also be accompanied by a box of tissues, some flowers, or even a proper human being to do an in-person breakup for you.

Mazins’ clients need only provide her with a sense of what they want to say; she will add flourishes “if needed.” Here’s a sample of what one of her breakup emails looks like:

The service is only available in Australia for now, and Mazins hasn’t announced plans to expand. But hopefully this trend will catch on in other countries. Why do something difficult yourself when you have someone who’s better at it do it for you?
