Thanks to some Iron Man-esque technology, one U.K. dad got to walk his daughter down the aisle.

Chris Palmer had been left paralyzed due to cancer, and was told he would never walk again. However, his daughter Heather got in touch with Rex Bionics, which has developed a suit that allows people with leg immobility to walk and stand hands-free. The company agreed to let Palmer try the suit out on Heather’s wedding day. “It’s wonderful I can do this—it’s fulfilling something that dads do,” Palmer told SWNS-TV.

Rex Bionics is a U.K.-based company, so the suits are not yet registered with the FDA. However, they are conducting clinical trials around the world. Currently, the suit is priced at £90,000 ($131,000), certainly high for the average user, so let’s just hope more people can “try it out” it in the future.
