Viola Davis explains what she’d want to do in a ‘Game of Thrones’ guest role

Viola Davis wants a role on Game of Thrones, and if there’s any justice in the world, she will get one.

In an interview with TV Guide, the How To Get Away With Murder actress said that Game of Thrones was her ideal choice for a guest-star role.

“I love that show,” she said. “I would want to play a character like Diana Rigg [Olenna Tyrell], like a really great, no-nonsense, formidable queen. But I’d want to kill somebody. With a spear.”

Please, Game of Thrones people, if you’re reading this: Make this happen. Hire Viola Davis to play a queen who kills someone with a spear. It would improve the show immeasurably. Plus, you’d have an excuse to hang out with Viola Davis. There is no downside here.
