After a nine-year absence, one of the games that defined arena-style competitive first-person shooters is back.

Bethesda announced Quake Champions during its E3 press conference on Sunday evening and dropped a brand-new trailer. No gameplay was shown, but lots of new characters were, including a blue-haired woman who looks like a badass in the making.

Bethesda also announced unlocked framerates and promised that the game will run up to 120hz.

Designed for esports play, the game will be released for PC, but no date has been set yet. In the meantime, Bethesda has launched social media accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to keep up with news about the game (although Twitter seems to be the only one that’s fully operational so far).

Id Software creative director Tim Willits said that more updates on the game will come during QuakeCon in August. If you’ve missed getting your frag on, it won’t be long until you can get back to it, so get those twitchy fingers ready.
